High civil engineering costs on private property, coordinating schedules with homeowners, complying with building codes and regulations, and limited budgets and staff resources can slow down the rollout.

Our two-stage expansion strategy with RESA offers an innovative solution to these problems.

In the first step, the network operator installs the passive infrastructure (pipework, etc.) as usual. Our RESA SC Homes passed+ are then installed at the property boundary in accordance with the regulations of the TKG (Telecommunications Act).

This enables fibre optic cables to be laid along the street, with the connection already being made on the end customer’s private property.

Depending on the design of this initial installation process, incorrectly laid empty conduits can also be detected during the initial expansion phase, minimising unexpected follow-up costs and annoying delays due to additional civil engineering work.

Blow in fibres and set RESA SC Homes passed+: The optical fibre is laid along the road and the pre-installation of the RESA CC (or SC) TKG-compliant as a termination at the property boundary.

Step 2
End customer decides individually when to connect

The installation is carried out conveniently on the private property, the RESA CC is localised and connected to the RESA BEP (Building Entry Point) -Homes Connected.
